Element Mezzo XLR Cable

Element Mezzo XLR Cable

£140.00

Based on our highly regarded Element XLR interconnect, the Element Mezzo XLR has been designed to meet the increasingly popular requirement for a cost-effective balanced cable with very little compromise in performance. The actual cable itself is identical, but the Mezzo uses a copper alloy body and pins as opposed to the high-purity OFC pins and aluminium alloy-bodied plug of the Element XLR.

A very well-screened interconnect for this price point, with excellent resistance to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), helping to ensure low noise levels and a neutral sound.

NB. Atlas XLR plugs are wired as follows by default:
Pin 1 = Ground; Pin 2 = Hot, Pin 3 = Cold. If you require a different configuration, please contact us. Always check with your equipment manufacturer’s instructions before ordering.

OFC XLR

The Mezzo XLR combines a copper-alloy bodied plug with copper-alloy connectors and crimped (solder-free) construction.

OFC

OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) was developed based on research that sound quality was related to the quality of copper and the processing used during cable manufacture.

PEF

PEF (Foamed Polyethylene). The foaming process uses a blowing agent, of which there are two types. Atlas use the gas-foamed method which creates a more inert, consistent and higher quality product.
